Official Urging AFL-CIO Harmony

H. C. Carrasco, state labor commissioner and member of a prominent California family, will visit Imperial Valley—Jan. 22, 23, and 24 to urge cooperation between the CIO and the AF of L.

His visit to the valley was Central committee and is a part of a state-wide campaign he is making in the interest of harmony among labor factions.
During his visit Carrasco will be guest of honor at a public banquet sponsored by the central committee. Reservations for the banquet at the Barbara Worth hotel Jan. 22 may be made with Mrs. Edna Morrison at 181.
Carrasco was said to have been appointed to the position because labor was united in recommending him to Governor Olson.
