Sartain's Union Magazine.
The December number of this beautiful magazine of Literature and Art, closes the volume, and with the January number will commence a new volume. We believe Mr. Sartain has fulfilled his promises in his prospectus for 1850, and made his magazine one of the best in the country. In his prospectus for 1851, he offers great improvements in the magazine, both in literature and embellishment, and we venture to say that he will not be outdone by any competitor. It will remain under the editorial charge of Prof. John S. Hart, and Mrs. C. M. Kirkland. Terms—One copy per year $3; two copies $5. By subscribing with us we can furnish the magazine and our paper for $4 a year. The January number will be a splendid holiday present, and can be had at 25 cts. a number. Address John Sartain & Co., Philadelphia, Pa.
