Full Text

Eternity.—Must we exist forever!
Time is like an island in the midst of a boundless ocean. This small island of time is especially given us to prepare for an eternity with God. We are soon to plunge into its waves! We now stand shivering on its very brink! Are we in readiness to depart from this momentary scene of action? Can we welcome the executioner, death? Can we receive with open arms the angel of love to bear our spirits upward? Have we a safe anchor? And is it cast within the veil where Christ the forerunner has gone?
