LONG SENTENCE
Judge Landis Gives Pan Motor Head Ten Years in Penitentiary

Samuel C. Pandolfo, head of the Pan Motor company of St. Cloud, charged with using the mails to defraud was yesterday sentenced by Federal Judge Landis of Chicago to serve 10 years in the penitentiary and pay a fine of $4,000. The case will be immediately appealed to the United States circuit court of appeals according to the word of Pandolfo's attorneys.

The accused was sentenced on four of the counts of the indictment. Judge Landis stipulated a five-year term for each of the four, but provided that two of the sentences run concurrently, making the total time to be served only 10 years.

The case has attracted wide attention as many people in this section are stockholders in the Pan company. The St. Cloud business men included in the indictments have escaped sentence.
