[Pioneer Press "Voices."]
"I think Bob Younger ought to be let out," said a gentleman recently, who had quite a part in catching the Northfield raiders. He was only a boy, and had no other model in life than his older brothers. They took pride in him after their fashion. As was shown when Frank James proposed to shoot Bob who was wounded and impeded their flight they were ready to die for him, and there is little doubt that the Youngers, as well as the James boys, would have escaped had they been cowardly enough to leave Bob behind. By the way, he has spent his time in Stillwater studying medicine, and if free would probably make a doctor of himself. He is a splendid fellow physically, and is a brilliant intelligent talker. His want of early education shows in his grammar, but on essential principles of medicine and the minutest knowledge of anatomy he is well read."
