Starting Monday with 89 children attending and reaching 108 the following day, the daily Vacation Bible School at the Presbyterian Church was winding up its first week today.
It will continue through noon next Friday.
Miss Karen Knudsen, of Northern State Teachers College is in charge of the beginners, assisted by Susan Hay and Carol Byrd.
The Primary Dept., which meets in the Episcopal Parish Hall due to lack of room at the Presbyterian Church, is led by Miss Janette Frohmader, of Whitworth College, assisted by Suzanne Grant and Marilyn Ness; the Junior Dept., led by Miss Dorothy Clark, also of Whitworth, has as assistants Carolyn Ness and Emma Churchill.
The Junior High Dept., is led by Miss Ann Lauenberg, of the College of Emporia.
The Rev. Paul Evans, pastor of the church, announced that final exercises for the Bible School will be held at 7:30 Thursday night with parents and friends invited to attend. A picnic also is to be held some time this week.
