In the following report to the city health department Dr. Paul B. Baird states that he has tested a total of 881 cows up to date and found four out of this number that he had to condemn. Although this is a small number yet it shows the necessity of an annual testing. Dr. Joly has tested a few cows and Dr. Libby of the State Department of Agriculture will give the free test to those entitled to it. By the end of September all cows owned by producers selling milk and cream in Waterville will have been tested.
