U. of M. Student Who Disappeared
Has Not Been Heard From.

Nothing has been heard of John Halliburton, who has been missing from the University of Missouri since Sunday, October 17. On that day Halliburton, a freshman in the College of Arts and Science, after deciding to quit school, bought a ticket to his home in Carthage, Mo. He used the ticket as far as St. Louis, where he disappeared.

His father, John W. Halliburton, a Carthage lawyer, has searched diligently for his son. It was only recently that he made a special trip to St. Louis to investigate a report that his son had been seen there in company with a party of young people. The report proved to be without foundation.
