The reader will see from the sketches of their proceedings which we have regularly published, that no great subjects of general concern have yet been decided. From a view of the business that was likely to come before them, it seemed to be the general impression, that little would be done, and that the session would be a short one. The prospect however, seems to be changed within a few days. Some of the members calculate that the session will be a long one; and we have even heard the 10th of March named as near the date of its continuance. The University question, the removal of the seat of government, the Armory, the penitentiary, memorial of Preston's securities, the Maryland Resolutions; and perhaps the great question of State Rights, &c. &c. may take up much of their time. Their communication with the Kentucky Commissioners, will probably, of itself, add one week to the session. These questions should be met and decided; but it is sufficiently obvious, that if the members do not greatly economize their time, they will scarce be up by the ideas of March."
