CASTINE, June 26.

Another outrage on Knox's Patent.

On Monday last, as Robert Houston, Esq. and others, were employed in surveying land on Knox's Patent, they were met and fired upon by a body of armed men. Fortunately no person was killed. An attendant on the surveyor was shot through the ankle. On Tuesday a person was arrested on suspicion of being accessory to the riot, and conducted to Belfast, together with three others, who attempted to rescue him. Yesterday the whole four underwent an examination in this town, before three Magistrates, after which three were conducted to prison. Considerable alarm has been created in consequence of this outrage. The Belfast and Northport companies of militia, were under arms the whole of yesterday.
