The Ourang Outang.—The Boston Daily Advertiser says "This curious animal has so far recovered her health and strength that she is offered for public exhibition to-day. It is but eighteen months old, and is consequently of small dimensions, being not much larger than a child of the same age. It has the nearest resemblance, we believe, to the human form of any species of brute animal which exists. This resemblance is the closest in the head, eyes and ears, and in the hands. The lips are large and projecting and usurp the chin, but the teeth, tongue and the interior formation of the mouth resemble those of the human species. Its legs are small and crooked. It walks erect, but generally with its legs much bent. She uses her hands with ease, handles a tumbler or other vessel freely, and adjusts her hat, shawl or other clothing, in an easy and natural manner. It will be regarded as a great curiosity: and if the spectator feels any sensation of disappointment, it must be from its diminutive size. It has grown considerably since it was taken on board the vessel which brought it to this country."
