Republicans Do Likewise; Both Select Delegates to County Conventions Tuesday.
The season of political activities has begun for both the Democrats and the Republicans and the nucleus of these activities take place tomorrow (Saturday when both the Democrats and the Republicans will hold precinct conventions to select delegates to the county convention which will be held on next Tuesday to select delegates to the state conventions of both parties.
Chairman Justo S. Penn of the Webb County Democratic Executive Committee, and Col. J. H. Zachry, chairman of the Webb County Republican Executive Committee, urges large attendances at the primary conventions Saturday afternoon.
By reference to the call published by Chairman Penn in this issue of Laredo Weekly one can ascertain where to go for his precinct convention.
