ON HIGHWAY TEN
Three motor cars attempting unsuccessfully to occupy simultaneously the same space on the highway put the cars out of commission and resulted in a hearing of the case before Judge T. B. Conley in magistrate's court Monday morning.
Sunday afternoon a truck and Chevrolet passenger car met head-on just west of the turnout to Beaman Lumber Company plant, blocking the road. Almost immediately a Hudson car, driven by W. A. Rigsby, of Cincinnati, came around the curve and to avoid running into a gathering of people on the road, Mr. Rigsby said, he headed his car into the truck. B. B. Merrill and T. D. Weast were driving the other vehicles, highway patrolmen said.
A young woman in the Chevrolet was slightly injured, while the others escaped unhurt, it was said.
