Event Details
A tremendous Volcano poured forth stones, and lava from a mountain, situated in the Beanjean Regencies, about 200 miles from Batavia, a seaport on the north coast of Java. This place was one of the most beautiful and highly cultivated sections of the interior of this rich island. Coffee and rice grew luxuriantly and plentifully there.
