Camp LeJeune. April 26—From a
war production job in Washington
to the first marine corps officership
held by a Chinese is the story of
2nd Lt. Wilbur Carl Sze, whose first
assignment is with a signal unit here.

Born in Washington, the son of a
physician, Lieutenant Sze's family
moved to China and lived there until
he was 15. He returned to the
United States, attended Staunton
Military Academy and later received
an electrical engineering degree at
George Washington University.
