The following from the Jackson Clarion Ledger will be read with interest by Judge J. M. Dickinson's many Columbus friends:
Judge J. M. Dickinson, general counsel for the Illinois Central Railroad, has purchased for $105,000 a two-thirds interest in the Belle Meade, the noted stock farm near Nashville, Tenn., and one of the most famous pieces of property in America. In addition to the purchase of the majority of the place he has offered to purchase outright the other one-third interest, or to lease it from the present owner. While Judge Dickinson is now a resident of Chicago a rumor has gained ground in and around Nashville that he will soon retire from active business and go to Belle Meade to reside.
