E. O. Elmore, an employe of the Herald Printing Company for the past eight years was named manager of the job department of the Herald, today, succeeding D. W. Debnam, who resigned Monday as production manager of the Herald, Guy M. Leedy, assistant publisher of the Herald announced.
Elmore has worked in various departments of the Herald starting as a job printing salesman and has been a linotype operator, for the past several years he has been pressman and makeup man in the job department.
Debnam, who had been connected with the Herald for more than four years, held the position of production manager and was in charge of the job plant and the composing room.
Leedy said that a shop foreman would be employed in a few days to take over the production in the composing room.
Debnam did not announce any future plans.
