Scouts Hold Annual Christmas Tree Sale

Greenbelt's Boy Scouts Explorer Post 102 will again conduct its annual sale of Christmas trees at the swimming pool beginning on Saturday, December 12. Business hours will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on that day and the following Sunday and also the following weekend, and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. December 14 through December 19.

Starting December 21, hours will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Profits obtained from the Sale of trees are used to help defray the expenses of the troop's annual trip to Philmont New Mexico. The goal, as usual, is to permit the boys to fly non-stop one way and to make the return by bus spending nights at military posts.
