Full Text

Dublin, Aug. 15—Every man, woman and child in Ireland appears delighted with the King; and not the smallest particle of party spirit exists anywhere. His Majesty said yesterday to Sir Benjamin Bloomfield, "I want no soldiers—I want no guards other than my Irish people." The fact is, there is not a soldier nor a peace officer in attendance on his majesty. The King held a private Levee this day, at which several Ambassadors, and Irish Dignitaries, having business with him, were present. But no one else was permitted to be present.
