It is said a certain Northern Peer lately declared that he never would be Minister again in this country; that he lamented the present divisions, so unhappy both to Prince and people; that this was a period which required an union and exertion of all the great talents in England, to guard against many threatening dangers; and concluded with a strong invitation to those who were men of known ability and unsullied honour, to step forward, and once more take the direction of the affairs of this distracted and almost ruined country.
