-The Constitutional Union, of Washington city, reports that a Runic inscription has been discovered near the Great Falls in the Potomac; that it records the death of an Icelandic woman, named Sigrid, who died in 1011; that the discovery proves the visit of the Northmen to our shores five centuries before the time of Columbus, and that they made explorations inland.
