We hear the Reverend Doctor Pil, having assumed the Professor of Divinity's Post in the Caput at Cambridge, is determined to oppose the Protestant Hereticks with all his Power. It is said farther, that the Protestant Hereticks will open their next Campaign by a brisk Attack on Orthodoxy in that University; but as there is a numerous and well disciplined Garrison in the Place, commanded by Doctor Pil, a Governour experienced in all the Arts and Stratagems of War, the Assailants may expect an obstinate Defence of every Outwork of Orthodoxy.
