NEGRO FINED FOR SELLING WHISKY

Drunkenness Makes Up Most of County Court's Docket Today

Charlie Johnson, Negro, was fined $25 and required to pay the costs of court today by Recorder R. E. Clements in county court on a charge of having whisky for sale.

Howard Scruggs, guilty of drunkenness, was fined $2 and costs of the court.

Jammie Thompson, drunk and disorderly was fined $5 and costs.

The State took a nol pros in the case of Worley Hughes, charged with threatening to kill.

Andrew Faulkner, who was charged with being drunk, was freed when the State took a nol pros.
