LACK OF INTEREST AMONG PAPAGO VETERANS GROUP
BLAMED FOR NO MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES THIS YEAR

There will be no Memorial Day services at Sells this year.

Lack of interest of former members of the Armed Service is blamed for the announcement. Only four officers and one member showed up at the meeting recently called for the election of officer for the 1962-63 term.

May 22 has been set as the date for the next meeting of Papago Veterans. Unless a quorum is present so that officers may be elected and regular business attended to, the group may have to disband, according to President Cipriano Manuel.

Other officers are Leland Mendez, vice-president; Eugene Jose, secretary; Harry D. Marcus, treasurer; and James Secundino, sergeant-at-arms.
