Full Text

Surprised Again.

Last evening, about a dozen of the members of the bible class connected with the Sabbath school of the Olivet Presbyterian Church of this city, called at the residence of their late teacher and pastor, Rev. A. J. Snyder, and the occasion was none the less enjoyable because it was a complete surprise. The evening was spent in singing, prayer and social intercourse, and last, but not least, in the presentation of a pair of beautiful gold spectacles. Nothing more appropriate could have been selected to show their appreciation and warm personal attachment. Mr. S. was the first and only teacher of this class for a period of more than 10 years. Herein is that saying true, "Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity."
