The Glee Club of Morehouse College will be heard in its annual concert at 8:00 p. m. on Friday May 3. in Sale Hall Chapel under the direction of Professor Kemper Harreld. Assisting this well known group of male singers will be the Atlanta-Morehouse Pelham Orchestra and the Morehouse Quartet. Instrumental and vocal soloists will be featured. Piano selections will be given by Rudolph Nichols of Atlanta. and J. Cleophus Lumpkin of West Palm Beach. Fla.: and vocal solos will be rendered by Marcus Williams of Bainbridge Ga. baritone: and Robert Williams of Selma. Ala. tenor. The Glee Club's repertoire will include "Brothers. Sing On,' "Waft Her Angels, Through the Skies." "Morning." "The Green Cathedral." : A Song of Thanks- giving" 'Has Sorrow Thv Young Days Shaded.' and a group of favorite Negro spirituals. Mrs. Sara Owsley Stivers of the Spelman music department will be the accompanist. There will be no charge for admission and the public is cordially invited.
