The Chief Attraction.
Clothing ceases to be attractive when it becomes mussed and dusty.
Veils are not wearable after the rent appears.
Gloves should be discarded when they cannot be cleansed and neatly mended.
Shoes do not have to come to tatters before being honestly discharged from duty.
As for hats, every woman knows that her head covering makes or mars her good looks.
