Mr. PURDIE,

LOOKING over your Paper last Week, in a Piece signed Cornelius Calvert I read the Relation of a most amazing Incident that happened to one of his Sons whilst yet in his Mother's Womb. Most of your Readers, I doubt not, were filled with Surprise at so singular an Adventure befalling him so early in Life; but no Words can describe my Astonishment, for you must know, Sir, that I pretend to some Knowledge in the Science of judicial Astrology, by which I will venture to prognosticate that his future Life will be marked with extraordinary Events, but of what Nature I am unable to foretell, unless his Father will be pleased to inform me, through the Channel of your Paper, the Year, the Month, the Day, the Hour, nay the exact Minute, when he was born. I shall then, by making a Table of the heavenly Bodies, and casting a Figure of the Planets, discover what will be the Achievements of this invincible little Hero, who, previous to his Birth, withstood the Attack of a rude Multitude. I shall not fail, Mr. Purdie, to communicate the Result of my Inquiries among the Stars, as I do not at all fear thereby to render my Predictions as famous as those of Cassandra were of old. In the mean Time, I am, Sir, your most humble Servant, and constant Reader.
