HAVE YOU GOT IT?

An epidemic of epizootic or some other strange combination of sore throat, hoarseness and that tired feeling has struck town and to find one who is not or has not been afflicted with this strange disease would be as hard a job as it was for Diogenes to find an honest man. Some lay the cause onto the comet, others to the big smoke fight and some even think that it is due to the return of Teddy from the jungles. As for us we believe that it originated from the fact that Ekalaka is to have its greatest and biggest dance at the hall this evening, the band boys having left nothing undone to make this the big "it". The floor will be in the best of shape, the music-well just come and hear it for yourself-will be furnished by a six-piece orchestra, and the crowd that attends promises to make the next world's fair look sick.
