The bridge over Frenchman's bay in the town of Sullivan was made passable for travellers. For this safe and convenient passage over waters hitherto passed by the most dangerous and inconvenient Ferry in New-England, the public are indebted to the enterprize and energy of Col. John Sargent, of Sullivan, whose perseverance deserves ample reward.
