MRS. HERRICK TO
PRODUCE OPERA

Another big musical event which will be of two-fold interest to Ogden people will take place early in August, when Mrs. John L. Herrick, a former resident of this city, will present the operetta "Bo-Peep," the score and music of which were written by Mrs. Herrick.

This three-act operetta is one of the best compositions produced by this talented woman and will be presented at the Ogden theater for the benefit of the three Weber county stakes. Mrs. Herrick is in the city at present drilling 150 boys and girls who will take part in the fully costumed production.

Mrs. Herrick is the wife of John L. Herrick, president of the western missionary field of the Mormon church, and resides in Denver. During the past few years Mrs. Herrick has composed many operettas and musical sketches, a number of which she has sold. One of her musical sketches is being used on the Orpheum circuit at the present time. "Bo-Peep" will be given its first presentation in Ogden.
