As soon as the trail is opened to the Shenandoah mine another property will be shipping ore to the smelters. Twenty men have been employed at this property pushing the development work that was carefully planned by John Hueston, foreman of the property, and Henry Charlton, shift boss. A large quantity of high grade ore is blocked out and ready for shipment as soon as the trail is in condition to allow safe traveling. It is the intention of the men in charge of this property to add a larger force of employes as soon as possible, and work will then be carried out on a bigger scale. The Shenandoah gives every promise of being a steady producer during the year, and with the payroll increased from twenty to 100 men, this property will help greatly toward making the camp a busy one this summer.-Silverton Standard.
