We learn from the Holly Springs Guard, that Mr. Bartley A. Cox, was killed on the 19th ult. by the accidental discharge of a gun in his own hands. It seems that he was on a hunting excursion at the time of the accident, and mounted on a horse. Mr. C. shot off one barrel of his gun, which so frightened his horse as to cause him to loose his hold on his gun with one hand and the cock striking the saddle caused the discharge of the other barrel, the contents of which blew off the top of his head, producing immediate death.
