We have information from our correspondent at Annapolis, stating, that on Wednesday last, on motion of Mr. Montgomery, the question was put, that leave be given to bring in a bill, entitled, "An act for the trial of matters of fact in the several counties of this state, and to alter, change, and abolish all such parts of the constitution and form of government, as relate to the General Court and Court of Appeals."
The yeas and nays being required were, yeas 39, nays 24.
So it was resolved in the affirmative.
It was then ordered that a committee of Seven be balloted for to prepare and bring in the same, and Messrs. Montgomery, Stephen, Scott, Clarke, Somervill, Williams and Ringgold were duly elected.
