Spring Tea Wheat.—Mr. Edward Shoemaker, of Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, writes (says the Washington Union,) to the Patent Office, under date of August 13th, that he has harvested the wheat grown from the seed of the spring tea wheat received from this office, and finds the grain infinitely superior to any spring wheat he had ever seen raised in Pennsylvania, and fully equal to the best fall wheat. He further states, that he received last spring from Davenport, Iowa, State, and sowed it, if possible, in a better situation, than he did the spring tea wheat. It was also sown two weeks earlier, but its yield was not quite so good.
