THE REUNION AT LIBERAL.

The Liberal News gave a good report of the G. A. R. Reunion at that place on August 17, 18 and 19. From the report we cull the following items and ideas. The News says:

The Fifth Annual Reunion of the old soldiers of this district met in this city last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and it is the unanimous verdict of all that it exceeded in interest and numbers in attendance all preceding meetings.

Following is the report of the business meeting:

Meeting called to order by President Russell.

Minutes of last meeting held at Meade read and approved.

On motion it was decided to hold the next reunion at Beaver, and that the entertainment of the people be left to the people of Beaver county.

On motion it was decided to assess each member of the association one dollar to go toward defraying reunion expenses.

J. V. Thompson of Beaver county was unanimously elected President for the ensuing year.

The following vice presidents were then elected:

Beaver county—Comrade Peckham.
Meade county—Comrade Griggs.
Seward county—Comrade Boyle.
Stevens county—Comrade McClure.
Morton county—not filled.
Grant county—not filled.
Stanton county—not filled.
Haskell county—Comrade Woodman.

Capt. J. R. Sensenich, of Beaver, was unanimously elected secretary.

Miss Nora Quine, of Beaver, was elected Daughter of the Regiment for the ensuing year.
