According to the last Advices from Munich, the Elector of Bavaria has issued an Edict, forbidding his Subjects to hold any Correspondence with the Inhabitants of the Upper Austria that have made Profession of the Protestant Religion. These Advices add, that the Number of these Protestants daily increases in the Dominions of the Empress Queen, and that the Troubles which have already happened about the free Exercise of their Religion, makes the Imperial Court dread worse Consequences, especially as the King of Prussia has discovered an Inclination to procure for the said Protestants good Terms at Home, or else afford them an Asylum in his own Dominions.
