The House Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs headed by Congressman Wayne Aspinall and the Honorable Leo O'Brien arrived in St. Croix on Jan. 2 for an on the spot inspection of territorial problems.

The group, consisting of seventeen persons, was met at the Airport by Governor and Mrs. Ralph Paiewonsky; Senate President Walter I. M. Hodge; Honorable and Mrs. Ron de Lugo, Governor's Representative on St. Croix; Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bartlett and other high ranking territorial officials.

The Committee will be in St. Croix until January 5, when they will leave for St. Thomas and St. John.

While on St. Croix, the Committee will be staying at the Buccaneer Hotel.
