County Commissioners' Annual.

The county commissioners held their annual meeting yesterday. Commissioner Chowen, having refused to accept a re-election to the permanent chairmanship, Commissioner Coburn was elected. Overseer of the Poor Farm Henry Thompson, Dr. Frank Burton, county physician, and Janitor Otto Langran and his assistants, Michael Hagan, Michael Pierce and Hans Heltk, were re-elected. The annual report of the poor farm showed the net profits of the year to be $864.23, and for the six years Mr. Thompson has been overseer, $8,969.74. The average number of occupants is 47½, and the total expense for the year $7,619.13. The total value of the farm, machinery, etc., is $59,519.36.

The standing committees for the year were selected as follows:

Ways and means, Dwyer, Oswald and Nash; roads and bridges, Chowen, Nash and Oswald; claims, Dwyer, Oswald and Chowen; public grounds and buildings, Nash, Coburn and Dwyer; taxes, Oswald, Dwyer and Nash; poor and poor farm, Nash, Oswald and Coburn; printing and stationery, Coburn, Nash and Oswald; lake improvements, Chowen, Coburn and Nash.
