MONDAY, December 19.

We hear from Newport, Rhode-Island, that on the Night of the 7th instant, a Sloop was seized by the Officers of the Customs there, having on board uncustomed Goods; and that a number of armed Men went on board said Vessel, after seizure, and abused and ill treated the Officers who had the charge of keeping her, and forcibly wrested the Vessel out of their Hands, and carried her off. -- A Reward of 100 Dollars is offered by the Collector and Comptroller to any Person who will discover where said Vessel was carried.
