Council of South-Carolina, to his Honour the Governor
of This Colony ; to acquaint Him, That they have Ad-
vice from Havanna, that the Spaniards are fitting out
Several Men of War and Transport Ships, in order to
attack the new Colony of Georgia ; and, 'tis said, he has
also Dispatches to the several Captains of the Men of
War, on This, and the Northern Stations of America,
to crave their Aid and Assistance. We hear, there is
an Embargo laid on all the Ships and Vessels in South-
Carolina and Georgia.
