The Kentucky Elections have commenced under the most violent excitement. Powerful exertions are making by the new Court party to sustain the present order of things; but prospects are favorable for a return to constitutional principles. In Louisville and Jefferson county, the old Court, or constitutional candidates, were returned by a large majority, much to the disappointment of their opponents, as may be gathered from the following paragraph in the "Louisville Morning Post?"

"Our vote in town need not alarm our friends; the power of banks, merchants, and money, is all concentered here. At this point, angels, without money, could not succeed; and purse and family have done even less than was expected."
