TO "A PROFESSOR OF CHRISTIANITY."

I have read your reply in this morning's Whig with much pleasure, as you have displayed such a large share of good will towards the Jews in general and me in particular. I am not at leisure at present to make my assertion good, that, namely, no new moral doctrine was taught by the gospel, which was not previously known to the Jews; but I hope that by Monday I shall be able to substantiate the assertions, which you seem to think unfounded.
