The third hold-up in Imperial Valley in 24 hours occurred early Monday night just outside the east city limits of Brawley when Byron Graham, jr., son of Supervisor
One of the bandits flourished a nickel plated pistol similar to the one used by a bandit who attempted to rob George Palmer in Brawley early Sunday night. Later Sunday night two bandits stopped two youngsters in El Centro and demanded their money. They only had a few pennies so the bandits told them to keep the money. Palmer's pockets were empty.
In all three robberies the bandits were in a car. The victims' descriptions were sufficiently similar to lead officers to believe they may be the same men.
