There seems to be a good sized fight developing in Southeastern Alaska within the Democratic ranks, according to "inside" information sent to The Gateway in today's mail.
It is rumored that Governor Parks will resign in order that he may be reinstated in his civil service standing and go back into the land office.
Chs. E. Bunnell is to be appointed governor.
Ketchikan Democrats are protesting the name of Hellenthal as judge in the First division, because he has a brother practicing, and has been the attorney for the Alaska Juneau. It looks as though the Democratic party's party will have all the earmarks of the reunion of an Irish family.
The rumored lineup is as follows. believe it or not:
Troy for governor; James Conors for collector of customs; W. B. Kirk for marshal; Jack Hellenthal for judge, and Henry Roden for district attorney. No one seems to know who will be secretary.
