SABATHANI BAPTIST
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Matthew 4:10.

We welcomed Rev. and Mrs. Stanley King back from their trip to the convention at the 11 worship hour.

Devotions were conducted by the deacon board. Responsive reading was from Psalms 95. The processional hymn was "Holy, Holy, Holy" and the congregational hymn was "Praise Him, Praise Him."

Music was rendered by the Senior Choir. Ralph Primm was pianist and Mrs. William Warder was the organist.

The morning scripture was read by Brother John Kittrell and was Genesis 2:1-7. Rev. King chose Revelation 1:9-11 as the text for his sermon, "I Was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day."

The broadcast was presented at 6 p.m. over radio station WMN.

The text was Psalms 37:16-20. The subject of the radio message was "The Happiness of Righteous Poverty".

Miss Bobbie Robinson and Arika King were united to our fellowship both by Christian experience, and Charles Grigsby, Jr., and Jacqueline King as candidates for baptism.

Also uniting with Sabathani recently were Miss Delores Mitchell and Miss Patricia Lewis, both by Christian experience.

Congratulations are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson on the birth of a baby girl.

Deacon Jeremiah Williams and Mrs. Ella Russell were called to the bedside of a relative in Omaha. Let us remember them in prayers.

Sunday school is at 9:30 and Morning Worship is at 10:45. We invite you to attend them. If you have any transportation problems call TA. 4-3091 to get your children to Sunday school or FR. 4-3244. — Mrs. Randolph Burnett church reporter.
