The 15th Congress, after the usual votes of thanks to the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House, was dissolved on the evening of the 3d inst. The whole number of acts passed at the late session amounts to 110—among those which are of a public nature we are happy to notice the following:—
An act in addition to the acts prohibiting the slave trade.
An act to protect the commerce of the United States, and punish the crime of piracy.
An act in behalf of the Connecticut Asylum for teaching the deaf and dumb.
An act to enable the President to take possession of East and West Florida, &c.
An act to enforce those provisions of the act entitled an act to incorporate the subscribers to the Bank of the United States, which relate to the right of voting for directors.
