London, Sept. 9. Yesterday the Marquis de Cambis, Ambassador Extraordinary from his most Christian Majesty to this Court, was admitted to a private Audience of his Majesty at Hampton Court, to which he was introduced by his Grace the Duke of Newcastle, one of his Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, and conducted by Sir Clement Cotterell, Kt. Master of the Ceremonies. Afterwards he had a private Audience of her Majesty, being introduced by the Right Honourable the Earl of Grantham, her Majesty's Lord Chamberlain, and conducted by Sir Clement Cotterell, Knt. Master of the Ceremonies.
