Full Text

Joy at the Marquis' Acquittal.

Bismarck, D. T., Sept. 21.—There is great rejoicing at Medora, the home of the Marquis de Mores, over his acquittal. The cowboys gave him a reception upon his arrival there last evening, although one of their number was killed by him. As the train came into the station the platform was crowded with sombrero-crowned Westerners, who filled the air with shouts and huzzas, swinging their revolvers about their heads and unloading as fast as they could pull the trigger.
