Fisk Bulldogs Rout Xavier 49ers
The Fisk Bulldogs entertained a capacity home crowd with the most convincing win of the season when they had Xavier Forty Niners their conference foes for a 38-2 drubbing that almost turned into a rout Monday night in Roxbury. The Fiskites, underdogs going into the fray, immediately took charge of the situation posting a 24-17 half-time lead. The Bulldogs did everything right in this period pouring in 8 goals and turning every break sixty per cent of their field into scores.

Dazed by the whirlwind, the Forty Niners at their own fast breaking were clearly out of the Fisk five, racking up point after point.

Bill Smith, 6 foot sophomore playing in the pivot position, gave the performance of the night at that spot. His fancy sleight-of-hand passes and play making were outstanding.

Despite a slight height disadvantage on the boards the whole time he was in, Smith controlled the back of the game.
